With over 30 years’ of progressive Engineering experience and knowledge in all aspect of safety positions which include; organising safety meeting, inspections, training and safety regulation and compliance. He started his career with the Department of Petroleum Resources and held different positions as a Safety Engineer, Head Safety, Environment and laboratory, Assistant Director, Head of Operations for Upstream Monitoring and Regulation and retired as Assistant Director, Gas Development Projects.
He obtained a B. Sc and M Sc in Industrial Engineering from University de Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. He also has a Diploma in Safety Management with distinction from British Safety Council, London, United Kingdom.
Charles has over 12 years lecturing experience with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). He started his career as a Research Assistant, SPDC Professional Chair in Geology, UNN. He held various positions as lecturer II, Lecturer I and Senior Lecturer. His currently lecture focus is on Petophysics, Applied Geophysics, Field mapping and Tectonophysics. He has successfully supervised and graduated a number of postgraduate candidates in Applied Geophysics in the Department of Geology, and counting.
He has recently completed his contract with the Exploration Department of the Shell Petroleum Development Company limited as Subsurface Research Adviser, where he worked extensively on geomechanics projects, including overpressure prediction in High Temperature High Pressure Deep prospects. He had previously worked on reservoir characterization, petrophysical modeling and seismic data interpretation within Shell. He had also successfully executed several hydrogeological projects for borehole citing and development. Recently, he successfully completed a project on “Hydrocarbon Potential of Anambra Basin, Nigeria” sponsored by Chevron Nigeria Limited.
He is a registered member of Council of Mining Engineers and Geosciences (COMEG) of Nigeria.. He is a Fellow of Institute of Industrial Administration. He is also a member and International (Nigerian) representative of Society of Exploration Geophysicists, based in United States and heads the student chapter in University of Nigeria.
Dr. C. C. Ugbor obtained a B. Sc in Geology, and M Sc and Ph.D in Applied Geophysics from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He also has PG Certificate in Advance Academic Practice and Research Skills from GGSB, Grenoble, France. He has several research papers and publications in both international and local journals to his credit.

He held various positions with Diamond Bank Plc as Head Teller, Cash Officer (CTSS), Head of Operation, Project Representative (Operation), Branch Head and currently the Cluster Head Branch Operations-Lagos Island Branch Clusters.
He obtained a B. Sc in Biochemistry and Post Graduate Diploma in Management from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has a certification on Quality customer Services in today’s banking by I-skill and on personal effectiveness for improved performance by Star Sapphire training and consulting. He is the director of finance.

He has a certification in Advance fire fighting, International Safety Management, and Personal Surviving techniques from Regional Maritime University Accra Ghana. He has worked as Business Development Executive of Prolog Energy Services Limted, an Indigenous Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) company. He has also work with WesternGeco, subsidiary of Schlumberger, as a research intern. He is the Business Development and Managing consultant.
